Our estimating team works to prepare comprehensive budgets and engineer's estimates for projects in the public and private sectors alike. Cost estimating consulting is a worthy investment in precon phases, pinpointing realistic financing needs before you ever break ground on your project.
Our CM / CMAR capabilities allow us to provide complete construction solutions for larger projects and complex capital improvement campaigns that may not be suitable for a typical bid process. Under these circumstances, we are able to call upon our extensive network of design professionals and subcontractors to provide a complete design package followed by a completely transparent bid process to solicit buy-in from all project stakeholders. Setting us apart from CM Firms and , "Paper GC's," your project will be staffed with an experienced Superintendent and/or Project Manager with knowledge and problem-solving capabilities gained in a real hands-on construction setting. Furthermore, we welcome the opportunity to add value to these projects by self-performing select trade packages and eliminating subcontractor management costs.
MCC can also team up with an owner and their respective design firm from day one of the design phase, collaborating with the designer and owner to offer constructability methods and value engineering to bring concepts to life, while also minimizing change orders and clashes. This method is particularly successful on more complex projects that can be difficult to conceptualize in the design phase.
As a contributor from the early stages of preconstruction, we can provide valuable constructability optimization, scheduling insights, and aid in pinpointing project issues before ground is broken, minimizing potential change order costs and occurrences.
Most common on public works projects, we enter this delivery method at the construction phase with precon and design having been completed by the owner. However, this does not mean we cannot still add value to a project. The rigid self performance standards we set for our field crews coupled with a hands on quality control approach from our management team, as well as close attention paid to sub trades, ensures that in our case, the lowest bid is also the highest quality finish product.
